What can my babysitter do? 

A babysitter’s main priority is to keep the children safe and happy. In doing this, most babysitters will get busy with:

• Ensuring the children’s physical and emotional wellbeing
• Providing a range of entertainment (age-appropriate toys, colouring, crafts, games etc.)
• Planning activities and excursions (at the request and additional expense of parents)
• Feeding provided meals or basic meal preparation
• Putting children to bed or down for naps
• Following schedules
• Assistance with homework
• Basic child related housework
• Pet care

You will receive an update while you’re away and a detailed ‘Report Card’, so it will feel as though you never left.

But what if I’m needing help a bit more regularly? 

While we don’t offer a regular nanny service, for those families who would like to use our babysitting service on a more on-going basis, you can simply submit babysitting booking requests regularly through your dashboard.

Babysitting rates

Designed to cater for up to 4 children from the same immediate family.

Do you need care for more than 4 children or are the children from different families? Check out our Group Childminding service.

• A $30 booking fee is charged upon matching you with a babysitter and is non-refundable. It is a separate charge to the hourly rate and covers insurance and administrative costs.
• Hourly rates are to be paid directly to the babysitter, either in cash or via bank transfer unless advised otherwise.
• An additional $5 per hour may apply for bookings where children are not from the same immediate family.
• A 2 hour minimum booking for babysitting applies.
