The Childminding Co. are constantly expanding and are currently recruiting babysitters, nannies and group childminders for casual and regular placements all around Central Queensland. We’re looking for special people who genuinely enjoy caring for children and who can demonstrate their knowledge, skills and experience with references.

The Childminding Co. will promote you and your services, manage the initial contact right through to booking confirmation and use our expertise to match you with families ideally suited to you. Importantly, we provide agreement oversight and terms and conditions to help protect all parties. We do the ground work, leaving you to do what you do best.

For casual bookings, you operate as independent contractors, meaning you get paid 100% of what you earn and are paid directly. You get full say in what you do and don’t do. Overnights aren’t your thing – that’s cool. Prefer a certain age group – you got em’. And because our childminders can pick and choose which bookings suit them, it works perfectly for those trying to juggle other work and commitments.

For regular nanny placements, you are either employed by your family or The Childminding Co. for security and peace of mind. Regular nannies wanting to earn extra are able to “fill in the gaps” with casual bookings – if they so wish. You’ll need these qualifications (or be willing to get them!):

Minimum Requirements  

• Aged over 18 years
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Valid Working with Children Check/Blue Card (QLD)
• Current driver’s licence with own reliable vehicle
• A minimum one year’s relevant experience, with references
• Whooping cough vaccination (if caring for newborns)

Criminal History Check and specialised skills and qualifications are well-regarded but not necessary.
