For regular placements, we take the extra time and care to really get to know your family and their needs before offering you our top candidates. Mary Poppins, Nanny McPhee or maybe even Mrs Doubtfire – we’ll hook you up with your perfect match.

We help facilitate interviews, arrange trials, draft agreements and even offer a payroll service so you don’t have to worry about whether you’re meeting employment obligations. Everything is fully customisable to your needs.

In order for us to provide our families with the highest standard service and the best selection of nannies, we only work on placing a small number of nannies at the one time. The time it takes to place a nanny depends largely on the families requirements but will generally take anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks.

Regular Nanny FEES, RATES AND PAYMENT OPTIONS

• A deposit of 50% of the Placement Fee is required upfront. The remaining 50% is charged after placement.
• The deposit is non-refundable and will be charged upon request of your regular nanny.
• Placement Fee is a separate charge to the hourly rate and is the cost to source, match and place a nanny.
• The Recruitment Fee will apply to families who’s needs do not meet our current nanny database and require additional sourcing.
• Hourly rates are determined by the Miscellaneous Award. 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

We offer a number of payment options to suit various budgets and abilities. While a family may from time to time engage a nanny as an independent contractor, this is not a supported payment option. The Childminding Co. will help you to figure out which payment option will suit your family best.

SELF-MANAGED PAYROLL

When choosing to employ your nanny and pay her yourself, the matter of employment rights and obligations is solely between your family and your nanny and not the responsibility of The Childminding Co. However, to help make the process a little easier, we offer our families an Informational Handbook – Employing a Nanny. 

EXTERNAL PAYROLL

We will refer you to our payroll partners and experts in domestic payroll, CarePayCo. For a small, once-off setup fee, they will work with you to determine which package option is right for you. From the preparation of timesheets, pay slips and the payment of salaries and superannuation, CarePayCo will save you time and money with what is normally a very daunting, consuming task.

INTERNAL PAYROLL

Let us take care of payroll for you. The Childminding Co. will employ your chosen nanny and handle all the employment legalities. You’ll receive a weekly invoice for hours worked plus an additional administration fee of 20%.
